Apologies to Robert
Who’s face is this?, (I think I know)
Her bottom’s somewhere down below
We lay here in such sweet repose
(Into my ear, she sticks her nose)
She gives her little ass a shake
To see if there’s been some mistake
Her eyes so blue, her hair so gold
The situation’s smacks of old
As she stirred about and left the bed,
She turned; she kicked me in the head.
The ladder leads to warm and soft,
(we sleep upstairs), here in our loft.
